In additional to DJ'ing, ten year old Dallas artist, Paige Christensen, has pursued many artistic interests & endeavors since old enough to pick up a brush. She has worked mostly with traditional mediums, such as watercolor & ink, as well as oil on canvas. Recently, she has branched out to paint on Plexiglas. She has completed her latest series of paintings for the ‘For Your Viewing Pleasure’ art show, which took place at Kinki Lounge on May 25th, 2006.

Paige has studied four consecutive years at the Dallas Museum of Art summer art camp, and has received special training in mural art, clay, illustration and painting. She loves to work primarily with bright, bold colors and whimsical themes.

She attends Rosemont Elementary school in Kings Highway, North Oak Cliff.

Paige has a dog name Corki, a cat named Jewel, a gerbil named Max and a turtle named Shelly who loves to take baths with her. She has a particular interest in bugs and reptiles and has been a member of the Dallas Zoo Bug Club for two years. She loves animals and hopes to own a pet store someday.

Charly was born in Dallas, Texas, on the first day of Spring, March 21, 1996.  She lives in a 90 year old house in the historic neighborhood of Kidd Springs in Oak Cliff with her parents, little brother, 2 dogs and Susan her male Russian Blue cat.

Charly met Paige at Rosemont Elementary in kindergarten. She was a straight-A student and in 3rd grade she won first place in Mathematics at the Sunset High School Academic Fair out of 5 elementary schools.

Last year she was accepted at the William B. Travis Vanguard and Academy for the Academically Talented and Gifted, the primary feeder school for Newsweek’s 2006 Best Public High School in America – Dallas TAG Magnet. Charly earned the Travis’ Principal’s Award for her ‘commended’ scores on all 4th grade TAKS sections.

Now entering 5th grade, Charly actively participates in art, drama, chess, and library clubs. She is working toward her Junior Girl Scout Bronze Award.

Charly’s interest in music is not limited to 80’s pop/funk; she also plays oboe and piano, and listens to light jazz and alt-pop radio. She loves video games and uses part of her DJ proceeds to buy/sell/trade at GameStop. She is currently mastering Natsume’s Harvest Moon games and enjoys Disney’s ToonTown.
